We have come to the last week of the school year. It comes with a heavy heart that I cannot say goodbye to students in person. Even though this is only my second year teaching art for the Burlington Area School District I feel so connected to the students and community. I miss the smiles, hugs, and laughter in the art room. To my fourth grade students who are moving on, we will find a time and place in the future to say goodbye; you know you are always welcome back to visit. I have been walking a lot in Burlington, and it’s been nice to see your faces and wave from a distance. Since my bird drawing videos have been the most popular, I made one for this week. I will add a few art projects and ideas to my blog and YouTube channel as the summer progresses so be sure to check back.
